Weekly Menu for 6/3/12 - 6/9/12

Each week we will try to offer you a variety of quick, healthy, easy meals and a grocery list to accompany each night. Using a menu helps with the never ending quest for "What's for dinner?" even if you change the order. Shopping with a list and visiting the grocery store once a week has also been proven to save time and money. Time and money are precious commodities today. If you make a little extra, it can also save on extra spending at lunch. Not only will you save money and time you will also know what ingredients are in your food and enjoy the health benefits.

  16 oz. Tofu or Sausage
1 Medium Red bell Pepper
1 Medium Onion
Frozen Hash Brown Potatoes
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Bisquick® Gluten Free mix or your favorite Baking Mix
Milk
Eggs
Wednesday Blueberry Pancakes Fresh or Frozen Blueberries
Xanthan Gum or Guar Gum
Buttermilk or your favorite dairy-free substitute
Thursday Spinach Mushroom Frittata
Garlic
Fresh Spinach
Mushrooms
1- 10 oz can mild diced tomatoes & green chilies
  Feta Cheese
Friday Cheese Blintz
Sour Cream
Ricotta Cheese

Half & Half

Protein Shake Mix
Splenda
Saturday Oatmeal Oatmeal


You will also need:

Gluten-Free Flour, Vegetable or Olive Oil, Salt, Pepper, Eggs, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Butter, Cinnamon (ground), Sugar, Vanilla Extract, Salad Dressing, Gluten-Free Bread, Milk of your choice


Remember to substitute your favorite gluten-free flour mix where "flour" is used.
