5 Easy, Last-Minute 4th of July Decorations
Did you think you still had some time to get around to the decorations? Are you looking for a last-minute idea to spruce up your table? Or would you like to bring some decorations and food to a party you're attending?
Here are some ideas that will go a long ways without much time or effort.
Okay, well, maybe this first one. In fact, I believe there is a tutorial. There are other pictures with close-ups of the mantle. Can you see this in your house from May all the way through July?
This next one can certainly be done without much ado. Starting from the back, ribbon is striping the white pitcher. Super cute use of an old pair of jeans on the cake stand. Red and white striped table cloth. Old soda jars are holding flags and of course the paper popcorn cups.
Anything Red, White, and Blue will do and why not decorate with food. This simple and very elegant cake serves 20 people. It's actually made of cupcakes lined up to resemble the flag on a wooden cutting board. Blue tablecloth with a red and white table runner. Red beverage and a white candle.
Are you spending the day at the park? Grab a red comforter, blue rug, red/white/blue pillows and anything else red, white, and blue. Take a peek at the simple blue vase with a single red flower.
Don't have red, white, or blue pillows? Do you have some fabric or bandanas in these colors? Place a pillow in between the fabric and tie the ends together. Simplicity and relaxation is what this picnic is about.
Children of all ages will enjoy this centerpiece. Bubble Gum. Isn't that just simple and fun? It's also one centerpiece that probably won't need to be taken down at the end of the night.
Have a wonderful 4th of July!
P.S., What's on your menu for food and decorations today?
