Redbook + L'Oreal Paris Happy Hour House Party

Have you heard about HouseParty?  If you haven't, let me tell you a little about them.  HouseParty works with various companies such as Redbook Magazine, L'Oreal Paris, Qdoba Mexican Grill, Seagram's Escapes, Atkins, and so many more.  Oh, the author Debbie Macomber even had an event earlier this year through HouseParty.

What happens, is you sign up to become a host and then submit an application (answer a short survey) for a particular party you would like to host.  Then get active and cross your fingers.  There are so many parties and a ton of people wanting to host the same parties.  It is a lot of fun getting involved even if you're not chosen for a particular party.

Once you receive an email telling you that you have been chosen to host, be prepared.  The fun is now going to intensify!  You get to send out a cool email invitation to your friends (complimentary of HouseParty), have lots of party planning help, tweet, post, comment, and get ideas from other hosts.

A few days prior to your party you will receive a box jammed full of party favors.  I had the privilege of hosting the Redbook + L'Oreal Paris Happy Hour House Party.

Guests went home with goody bags filled with samples and products.  During the evening, we played trivia games from the 1960's that covered TV shows, music, history, and beverages.  We had a blast!

I really hope to be chosen as a host for another party.  Think my friends and neighbors would like that too - especially the ones who were unable to make it to this event.

One thing is for sure, HouseParty will receive an application from me for each party I'm eligible to host.  I hope they receive one from you too.
